During my Easter holidays I went to the Isle of Coll, where Project Trust is based in the Inner Hebrides, to do their selection course in order to be chosen as a volunteer. There were 12 of us in the group, and we stayed with different families on the island for the four nights we were there. We were put through different challenges such as giving a presentation, teaching a lesson and doing community service. We were also told about the different projects and countries that Project Trust are involved in.
The week was a great break from A-level revision, and it was lovely to meet some new people! We have all stayed in touch, and those of us who have been selected are helping each other with fundraising ideas .
